Virgin media hub and TP link wifi extender
is there an easy way to set this up
A couple of years ago I did this and the range then extended well out in to my garden. However, after about 6 months my WiFi failed and it was cause by the TP link device which no longer functioned correctly but also stopped the Virgin hub from working or blocked the signal. I removed the TP link and have continued to mange with the Virgin Hub. I intend to set up the TP link again sometime but 2 years have past and I have not bothered yet.

I've been using the TP-Link AC1750 extender for 3 years, boosting a BT hub, and it's still working ok. Before that I had a Netgear (I think it was) extender that was a little more complicated because it changed the name of the wifi signal, so you had to have both the hub and the extender info on your devices. Because of this, and the fairly short life of the Netgear device, I'm much happier with the TP-Link unit - if I remember correctly it was fairly straightforward to set up.
