vivtar lens mount

hi , i have a lens that was my fathers which is a 400mm vivitar prime lens however at the moment i have to use his olympus to use it , i have noticied it has an interchangable mount , where could i find a canon or pentax fitting mount from ?

The Vivitar lens is probably a TX lens, if so it requires a TX mount. They are the sort of thing that may turn up on ebay or at a car boot sale. You will struggle to find one with a dealer. Another option would be to buy a lens (again off ebay or secondhand shop) with the correct mount. Swap mounts and sell the lens with your old mount.
