wish you well. I had stents inserted just over 15months ago and although I didn't have a `heart attack' I feel much more confident about the future. I'm on aspirin and beta blockers for the rest of my life, but you can do almost everything I did before.

If they offer you rehab exercise, take it...it's a brilliant way of testing your capacity and getting into a regular rhythm. SmileSmile

I add myself to the list of well-wishers, Sue.
And to Ade, that white square thing with the round window in the front is called a washing machine, and if you need to find out how that and the microwave works....then you shouldn't have thrown the manuals away!Tongue

Thanks to everyone for all their kind words and good luck messages.......Glad to say my Darling is on the mend and has been taken off all the monitors and checks this evening, she's been told that if everything is as it should be she'll be allowed home tomorrow, which considering how the poor lass was on Wednesday is remarkable. I've never been so frightened in my whole life. As anyone that knows us personally will testify were pretty well joined at the hip, she's my best mate as well as my wife and I shudder to think how I'd manage without her!.......God Bless the NHS, which has been absolutely amazing in every respect. The GP, Ambulance Crew, Emergency Staff, Bristol Heart Institute and even the Porters who very kindly escorted all the family from Casualty to the Coronary Care Unit, just in case we got lost!!!!.......I'd hate to think what would happen to this country if we ever lost it?

She's had a stent put in and she's been told she's going to be on pills for the rest of her life and that she's going to have to take it easy for the next 6-8 weeks, but we'll both deal with that as like we always deal with whatever life throws at us.

As you all might imagine I've not had much sleep over the last few days and I'm feeling a little ragged, so I'm going to disappear and try and get some sleep before the boss comes home. Ready to give me a hard time and nag me as much as she feels like and tell me how the hell everything works from the Washing Machine to the Microwave! Wink

Thanks once again and for helping me keep my spirits up.........Ade
