Probably not the best place to ask, but worth a try anyway Smile Does anyone know of a good company that does websites for writers? Looking for something along the lines of Photium/ Clikpic/Folipic/etc but aimed at authors/creative writers. I did google, but life is too short Wink
Many thanks.

What extra features does a writer need Kathy, we could probably adjust foliopic to suit?
With the foliopic system you can turn off the photography aspects (gallery mainly) and just use the page creation option allowing you to add any aspect a writer could need (I believe). We've already got people using the system to sell stationery, run clubs, etc.

Blogs are a great way for writers to get it out there with a twitter/facebook account to create links.

I've not seen a Photium/Foliopic type package for writers - and I am one. Personally I'd go for a Blog and Wordpress designed site. There are some templates out there but to be honest you'd be just as well designing something simple for yourself.

I'm a big fan of Wordpress, but if you want things like feedback, and exposure on a site with many other writers, try writing.com.

Oh, thanks Pete Smile I didn't realise that. It's for a friend so I will pass on the info to her as that is just what they are looking for!
