Weekly B&W Challenge ending 8pm Wed 26th June 2019 - Gate(s)

I had another idea for this weeks theme but discarded it as it was too similar to one in the recent topic list but it can remain memorized for another time.
This following weeks theme I chose as "Gates". I remembered an image that I took for the Black and White Challenge a while ago which I never used was of a pair of Gates separating a pathway and a field. It's still sitting on my hard drive as I quite liked it so the mission for the following week is to take an image that includes a Gate or Gates.
Rules
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun

Okay. back at last and as expected (always) a hard time picking a winner. I do tend to pick a subject, type the spiel and then as soon as I hit the "Add Topic" I think "Nooooo, that's rubbish!! I should've chosen the other idea, Malc, delete it for me......MALC......!!"
Never the less, I shouldn't worry as I always forget the subject is not so much important as how it is read and approached and all themes seem to produce good ideas and good images.
So on to the verdict and five entries this week (doesn't make it any easier) and I certainly enjoyed viewing them all. After much deliberation I have decided that I am going to have to return serve and declare "Lock Gates" by Dave as this weeks winner.
So well done to Dave and many thanks to everyone for taking part this week.
One down and one to go......
