Your challenge this week is to capture an image of the sky. Texture, contrasts, fluffy clouds, sunrise, sunset, stars - the sky's the limit!
The weather forecast in the UK is looking mixed over the next week so should be some good opportunities (for UK entrants!).

Your choice of foreground if you want to include some as long as the main interest is the sky...

The rules:

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun
9. Try to avoid walking into things when looking up!

Good luck!

Out for a walk along the prom this morning and some magnificent cloud formations..... and what did I have, my phone.

So it's a phone banker shot in and maybe something to follow although I'm quite happy with the grainy outcome after running though affinity and elements (solely for the border)

Not much time left for entries to the challenge. It looks like a grey day here in Leeds but hopefully any of you who still need to get your camera pointing upwards will find more interesting skies where you are.

I've been holding off as I had hoped for more opportunities for photos but as it's been grey and flat all week I guess I'll go with one I took from the bus window on Saturday Smile

Like Alison, I too was holding off in the vain hope that I might get some additional opportunities. But the sky has been just plain, dull grey all week! So this one from the weekend will have to do. Smile

And yes, there are 3 birds - none of them are dust spots (I made sure to get rid of all those!!! Tongue )

A good range of images as usual making judging difficult. Welcome to Henry from New Zealand.

We have drama, a night sky, reflections, some summery clouds and Sky with sky. I hadn't thought about TV equipment when I chose the topic, probably because I prefer to use Virgin's. (Its good to use apostrophe's so that sentence cant be misinterpreted Wink)

The winner this week is Dave with his opportunist shot of the expansive and cheery sky with the varied industrial and rural skyline . Over to you Dave.
