Weekly Black & White Challenge - ending 8pm Wednesday 19th June 2019 - Summer
It’s almost the 1st day of Summer, so there’s the theme.
That’s SUMMER - not 1st days
What does summer mean to you?
Ice cream parlours, seaside trips, summer days in the park even a deck chair in the garden.
Indulge your seasonal selves and brighten our week.
And according to the forecast from Friday we are to see the end of the current storms and so to;
The rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun
9. Just in case, rain counts as a British Summer

Cricket is an iconic summer sport so I'll just take a picture of an empty cricket ground - rain stopped play.

I slapped on the waterproof sun factor today - not because I was going swimming, but in case the rain stopped and the sun came out...managed to obtain an appropriate entry...

Well it's been a tough choice between the last two....
But for this week that dubious honour goes to Eddie. Not only a lovely shot but triggered childhood memories of playing in the field and aiming these darts at each other.
