Inspired by a comment made by Eddie in the previous challenge, where he mentioned that he was unable to get a shutter speed slow enough to get a blurred car (hint; next time use a moving car, not a parked oneTongue), I want to see a sense of speed. Moving traffic, running dogs, superman flying overhead...the amount of speed is irrelevant - granny slowly walking with her zimmer frame will do, just as long as speed is implied.

The rules apply this week as well...

1. The challenge is just for fun.
3. The image must be uploaded in a comment in this thread by 8pm (UK time) on the following Wednesday.
4. Images must be B&W (or sepia toned).
5. Only one upload per member (or Malc gets busy deleting earlier entries).
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week's challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.

For new participants - please be aware that should you win, you will need to set a new challenge and judge it after 'closing time' the following Wednesday.

After taking some images in accordance with the theme, i was a bit confused about the time difference from UK to India, i had a wrong perception that the time difference is about 5.30 hour, and i wrote in the previous thread accordingly, but actual difference is 4.30, you can see here...

Hence my submission...

I want to see a sense of speed.

Our second Grandson (now 8yrs) - he goes everywhere at 100mph... Smile

Not as big a bump as I got - I was in another car taking my entry.

Another spinny thingy, this time a Windmill at our local graveyard. It was backlit by sunlight which was just in line and not blocked by the headstone. I took some filters with me in case but they were not needed.

I quite liked the Robin so included him in the composition.

Okay's Wednesday, it's 8 o'clock - well, just after, to be exact - and it's Crackerjack! Moved from our prime-time viewing spot of 5 o'clock on Fridays. I'm Jack and I'm crackers.

I've done the washing up, gone to fetch a take-away, finished cooking my socks, taken the dog for a walk and all those other things that had to be done before the judging could commence, so let's concentrate on this evening's main event. Introducing, in the red corner, weighing in at...

(Removes silly head and puts sensible head on instead).

Time to get up to speed with this week's crop of wizard entries, then, I guess. Anyone voting for Trump is automatically disqualified, as is anyone with a complete collection of the speeches of Margaret Thatcher...

Let's see...who's up first?
Must be:
Somnath: the speed of light, and so hot, too! Health & Safety might have something to say about the lack of protective handwear...
Next up we have:
Dave and his Formula 1 driving your heart out Hamilton!
Then it's the turn of Phil and the stately, sedate speed of his swan, churning up a wake...
And so to Chris with her dancing daisies,
Which brings us nicely to Linda, giving us a wave, so let's all wave back.
And she is followed by a very restless and fidgetyt IL (all hail!)
And last but never least, Eddie dressed as Batman, with his Robin on stage at The Windmill...what a thought! (shudders uncontrollably...)

Back in a couple of whatsits with the glass needs topping up. That's the good thing about not working any more, you never have to think, 'better not, it's a work day tomorrow...'Wink
