Here is your challenge for the week - pattern. The subject can be anything as long as it creates a pattern, whether simple or intricate.

The rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm (UK time) on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun
9. Selfies are allowed, but only if you're wearing something patterned.

Good luck!

Work work work! I know its no excuse for a 2 week no show so I have done something while I have 2 mins to spare.

Having been hit by a flu bug this weekend, I decided not to spread the germs too far and wide. So I stayed inside looking for suitable patterns. In the end, having been singularly uninspired by any patterns in the house, I decided to create some of my own... Hope you like! Smile

Finally found something, and it was completely unplanned - it leapt out at me as I was setting up in my home studio for another image I had planned to use for the challenge if it worked out. Decided to go with this one though.

Watching Masterchef and eating - the judges didn't like the idea of ravioli and salad but my cheesy pasta with a green salad went down a treat.

So now for the judging - with a fine array of patterns making the task difficult. Some intrigue with clever lighting from Malc (the version helped understand what it was) and from Eddie a car window sticker making me wonder how his wife can see to drive but perhaps it's small. But the one which stands out for me is the pattern of bubbles with the background reflection so the honour this week goes to Merlin for a great image.

Well done Merlin and many thanks to Phil for what I found was a difficult challenge to find something a bit different.

Phil, I thought I would mention that the sticker is a picture of the Pope that was bought for my wife for Christmas as a kind of a joke present. It is stuck on the rear door window and is meant to look like the Pope is sitting in the back seat although in reality it just looks like a sticker of the Pope stuck on the rear door window. Smile

We have though become quite popular with a Catholic family living in a house nearby though. Grin

I perfectly understand your need to share this with us, Eddie. Sometimes sharing helps a lot, and I hope you went to work today with a huge weight removed form your shoulders.
