Something to get your creative juices flowing this week - to create a montage of 3 related things. Choose one image split into 3 frames or 3 linked images combined, with your choice of subject - it's up to you.

The all important rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. Your image must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The image must be uploaded in a comment in this thread by 8pm (UK time) on the following Wednesday.
4. Images must be B&W (or sepia toned).
5. Images and result only in this thread - comments/banter/discussion in the 'Weekly Black And White Challenge - Discussion' thread.
6. Only one upload per member (or Malc gets busy deleting earlier entries).
7. The person who hosts is the judge for that week's challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
8. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
9. Enjoy yourself

Good luck!

Past sights of London. Routemasters are no longer kings of the road, black cabs are anything but black these days and as for the phone box, it's many a year since anyone pressed button B...

Items from a British Airways boxed set which also included a postbox. Might be worth a bob or two on fleabay as I have the original box. I believe the set is from the'80s

A nice set of threesomes:

Rob - a good trio of cutlery
Dave - an interesting set of local signs
Malc - I think these souvenirs have appeared before - great reflections. I used to travel daily when a student on the 88 from North Clapham to Horseferry Road but no I don't want to buy them!
Eddie - can't wait to see you on the Great British Sewing Bee!
Peter - good set of backlit flowers
Alison - my glib answer to your your loss of memory is that this is definitely a flower but after consulting a higher authority it might be an astrantia. Great high key.
Linda - a series based on a French ?perfume bottle oh la la...

The winner this week I declare is our IL Alison for the most striking tryptich. Well done and over to you.

All hail our IL on her Illustrious victory!
Many thanks to Phil for choosing the subject and judging. (and for choosing what I thought to be the best triptych...)

Great choice Phil. Thanks for hosting. 😊

Congratulations Alison - nice one. And I couldn't have helped you out... I've never even heard of an Astro-thingy-me-jig, much less seen one. Lovely though it is. 😉
