First time I set a challenge here, so I have doubt whether i made a perfect copy paste or not and decided to go with People, it may be portrait, street photography, or anything as long as a people is present...Light and composition will be the basic factors for grading...

The rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. YOUR IMAGE MUST BE TAKEN AFTER THE THEME IS ANNOUNCED.
3. The image must be uploaded in a comment in this thread by 8pm (UK time) on the following Wednesday.
4. Images must be B&W (or sepia toned).
5. Only one upload per member (or Malc gets busy deleting earlier entries).
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week's challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.

Good luck!

OK, so it's a rubbish photo, but we're up to our eyes in dust and paint at the moment so I just took this sneaky shot. I was supposed to be helping, but hey ho. Smile

Sorry Michael, you can't submit an image taken in the year 2012, it must be taken after the theme is announced i.e after 13.08.2020...if you have any you can submit here, by the way you have captured a very good image...

Waiting at the Chip shop

I didn't get much oportunity to go out with the camera and today the weather was atrocious so I used the smartphone to get a photo in our village.

I was hoping the lowest ISO would allow a moving car to blur slightly but alas not. Smile

Thanks to all of you for your submission, and i like every images posted here...

Dave...Men at work, nice to see you all are leading a normal life in this pandemic, we are still in trouble...

Philip...Urban Heros, a nice street scene, particularly i like the relationship you observed between the animate and inanimate objects in your composition...

Chris...i can assure you, the effect you have given in your image is wonderful, and i don't think it is a rubbish one...

Alison...On the bus, very nicely composed, i like the framing of your subjects...

Malc...Man dwarfed by nature, very well composed shot, with beautiful atmosphere, light and processing...

Edward...Waiting at the chip shop, a nice slice of life, beautifully captured, you have attempted to capture the movement of the car with a smartphone, you have to use pro mode to capture images where you can set shutter speed...

And the Winner of this week is Malc...

Somnath, I did use pro mode but the lowest ISO and fixed aperture would not allow a slow enough shutter speed. I could have done better if I had an ND filter to hold in front of the phone though. Smile

Well done Malc and many thanks Somnath for this week!! Smile
