I fancy a wide vista this week. I'd like to see a broad Cityscape or Urban Landscape, with or without big skies and clouds, but with lots of building.architectural interest. If you live in the country and all you can see is grass and sheep, get on a bus and go somewhere else. Smile

The rules are:

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Now the weather's improved, get out for a nice walk or bike ride. Smile

If I rotate 90° from my normal stance, it would have to be a pano as I stand 6'3" in my thin socks.

Is there a discernable difference if you stand in your thick socks? Or bare feet?

There is a 2mm difference between thin socks and bare feet, and a 3mm difference between thin and thick socks...
2mm equates to 0.07874"

So by my maths, a 5mm difference between bare feet and thick socks. Whilst us ladies probably wouldn't be able to discern that, I suppose from a male perspective that's pretty significant! 😉

One's height reduces by up to one centimetre during the day, even without change of socks or other footwear.

Does this apply even if one spends ones day hanging upside down, bat-like?

And the lesson from that story is always have your BMI checked in the morning, rather than the afternoon! Max height, min weight - just don't eat or drink first!

I believe that counts as my good deed for the day. 😉 😂

My wife goes to Slimming World and one of their masculine members did strip down to his underpants before weigh-in. He would have been within target (free membership) if he been weighed in the buff but his modesty cost him his weekly subscription!
