Weekly Black and White Challenge ending Wed 23nrd Jan 2019 - In need of some TLC

I thought that this week I'd like to see your images of things/objects that have seen better days, or are in need of some Tender Loving Care - I spell it out in case there's someone who doesn't know what TLC stands for...
It could be that tired old spouse/partner, or even an inanimate object - oh, wait, that could be the same thing.
Anyway, you all get the idea, so go find someone/something that needs a bit of a buff up.
As ever, the rules are:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judges decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun
9. Selfies are allowed

Blimey! A bumper 10 image field this week - great to see so many entering, including, I believe, a first-time appearance from Sunbeam2 - sorry, don't know what your real name is.
In order of uploading, as usual:
Dave: That may be out of steam, but I bet it performs as good as anything running today when it's put back together!
Isobel: So lucky for you that Mum is totally useless with a paint brush
What a bad example she sets
Simon: I hope they remember to polish it a bit before any official visit form the twin town!
Sunbeam2: Looks as if they were trying to hide that somewhat grand looking door in a corner for some reason.
Phil: Only one thing to say here, amte...OUCH!!! Hope she doesn't forget that it is injured and try kicking you in an argument!
Pete: It's what we call a Brexit window...it's FUBAR!
Jack: Bit of a back-breaking job to clear that up - I'll leave it to someone else!
Linda(who can't paint benches): How very inconvenience! (deliberate mis-spelling)
Eddie: Even though I'm not religious, I always feel there's something wrong seeing a closed-down church...doesn't seem right somehow.
Cattyal (I'm feeling informal this week): That looks very weather-worn and dilapidated.
Right then...off to make a shortlist of my shortlist and hopefully decide on a winner. This one will definitely go to extra-time and a penalty shoot out!

Damn! This ain't easy...but after having a huge discussion with three of my other personae, we have finally managed to come to a decision. Mind you, it wasn't easy. One of me was very determined and refused to budge from his choice until persona, let's call her number 2, threatened him (persona number 3) with physical violence of a nasty nature.
The only problem then was that once they had agreed, it didn't match my choice, so off it all kicked again.
In the end, I had to use my executive powers to force through a hard border, erhm, I mean hard decision...bloody Brexit...
So, I hear you all wondering, or not as the case may be, who is the fortunate winner this week?
Well, in the end it falls to - and I hope he won't hate me too much for choosing him - Pete to choose the next theme.
I just loved the simplicity and clean look of the image.
Many thanks for a great bunch of entries, and I hope that Sunbeam2 will keep entering and also that Pete gets at least as many entries to judge next week.
