Weekly Black and White Challenge ending 8pm Wed. 18th March '20 - In or around your home

In these times of restriction and uncertainty I have decided not to put you at more risk than is necessary, and provide a theme that means you can decide on and take an image form the safety of your own home.
What you choose to photograph is entirely up to you - a close-up of your favourite skirting board, a reflection in a window, a tree in your garden, a treasured egg-cup after a favourite aunt, a pet (hi there, IL!)...you name it, anything goes just as long as it is in or in the vicinity of your home.
Extra points will be awarded for creativity over a straight-forward record of something.
The rule and regs. are as follows:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun
9. Stay healthy!

Well, this theme inadvertently turned out to be a godsend for anyone currently quarantined at home because of the virus which is disrupting things a tad at the moment.
Now that the macro challenge has been put to bed for another week, you can all concentrate on the more important b&w one.
Oh...no need to keep at least 1 meters distance to your subject...unless it is a two-legged human.

If we're quaranteened for months, I'll need to keep over a meter from my two-legged human to avoid any nasty mishaps by way of all-out war.

I cheated and looked through your efforts in advance today - pretending I am self-isolating and have to stay indoors and need to fill the time with things...
So, let's have a look then, who's first?
Chris: Anyone would think you were a man, not reading the instruction manual!😂
Dave: That border won't keep any Mexicans out!
Phil: Looking at that almost gave me a sweat - almost.
Eddie: Guess you were expecting to clean up this evening with that image?
Pete: The way to a man's heart.....and what an army marches on...
Linda: Looks like a very good attempt to replicate the famous Andrex toilet roll ads using available materials!
IL: (all hail!) Looks like something from a horror movie I remember form the 70s...I'll be sleeping with the light on tonight...
So...the verdict...ah yes, I forgot about that...stay put, I'll be back in two shakes of something's tail...
