Weekly Black and White Challenge ending 8pm Wed. 29th Jan 2020 - Barriers or hindrances
(Cue Mission Impossible music)
Your challenge, this week, should you decide to accept it, is to photograph a barrier or hindrance of some kind. Railway crossing gates, gate to a field, police tape round a murder scene, child safety gate, a great big pile of stones across a path, barring progress, a very big puddle....the list goes on.
NOT locks unless they are on a canal, weirs - yes.
Try to get creative, not just take a record of the scene...brownie points are at stake.

Rules, regulations and laws:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun
9. Don't get in anyone's way or hinder them...

Only if you bought the suicidal version...or if you accidentally sit or stand on it, but that might not be classified as self-destruction...
Monday's almost over so I guess it is in order to remind you all to knock down the barriers, jump the hurdles and circumnavigate the unconquerable before the deadline arrives in just over two days...
Still time to get an entry in for those who are leaving things late - a la Christmas shopping, or the anniversary present for the wife 'cause you only remembered it the day before...

Quality has certainly taken prioity over quantity this week, so although the numbers are low, the decision is no easier for that.
Four widely varying interpretations on the theme...
Dave - I wouldn't like to try sliding down that rail -cit would most certainly bring tears to the eyes!
Phil - the eternal question of how to keep a determined squirrel away from the food it is determined to reach - they are clever little buggers!
Eddie - oh, what a surprise...a selfie...but what a good one! An imaginative interpretation indeed!
IL (all hail!) - probably the most classic example of the entries of the theme - definitely no mistaking the 'do not pass' message there!
