Weekly Black and White Challenge ending Wed 11th Dec. 2019 8pm - WET

An easy challenge this week (in my opinion) as we are all up to our necks in seasonal thoughts and also, this year, trying to decide who to vote for (refers to UK residents only).
So, anything at all representing WET - everything from a teardrop to the mighty ocean and all points in-between.
For those who are new to this or just forgetful, here are the rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Enjoy yourself
9. Stay dry, unless getting wet is deliberate.

Well as far as elections are concerned, it's like choosing between one party who has their gun to your head or the other one with their knife to your throat. I will just vote for the way I'd prefer to be finished off!!!
As far as the challenge is concerned............Don't worry, I will not be getting into the shower again!!

OK then...not so many entries this week, and unfortunately 2 of them can't be considered because they were taken long before the challenge theme was announced.
Welcome to both gypsyman and new member debs_ohara, and great to see new participants, but the rules do state that the image has to be taken after the theme is announced, so we cannot consider your entries. Shame, but we hope you don't give up and try again next week.
So, to the 3 remaining entries...
Eddie: so typical of you, splashing about in water making a big mess everywhere and enjoying yourself like a big kid.
Phil: Moonlighting as an umbrella seller in the evenings, eh? Hope you declare it to the taxman!
IL (all hail!): The monster from the deep. An alien being. I always thought Cheltenham wasn't as innocent as it appears on the surface...
So, off to refresh my glass (H2O only tonight) before returning with the results...stay tuned.

A decision has been arrived at and the winner is about to be declared. As my brain is a bit blurred tonight for some reason, I shall not waffle nor digress. Even relatively simple answers in today's Telegraph crossword are eluding me, that's how bad it is. And I cannot blame anything concrete...
Anyway, you're not interested in the problems I have getting the anagram answer to 14 across, so I'll get to the point.
All hail our winner this week, yes, it's your leader and mine, IL with her beast in a puddle!
Joint runners-up are therefore Eddie and Phil, but not necessarily in any order...
You all did very well again!
