Weekly Black and White Challenge ending Wed 2nd Oct at 8pm - Sculpture or Statue

Had a look through the topic list, and didn't spot this one, so why not, I thought.
Gives the opportunity for both indoor and outdoor photography.
Now, listen up. I want to see creativity here. Not just a straight-forward, bog-standard image of a statue/sculpture, but get inventive and creative. Get in close on some detail, a weird angle. Impress me with your imagination.
As as example, see here. or here.
Go on then, what are you all waiting for? Oh, yes, the rules, as if you didn't know them by now...
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun

Being from Hartlepool it had to be the Monkey Statue on the Marina Lock Gates.
As a town we've hung one, elected one as Mayor and statues/flag commemorating our heritage.
From the web...
Legend has it that during the Napoleonic Wars of the early 19th century, a shipwrecked monkey was hanged by the people of Hartlepool, believing him to be a French spy! To this day, people from Hartlepool are affectionately known as monkey hangers.

Hi Marissa, and welcome to the weekly challenge!
I see you have uploaded your entry in the right place, so no problem there
However, the rules (see first post in this thread) state that the image must be taken after the theme is announced, and I see your entry was taken in 2017.
If you have the opportunity to take a new image and submit it, then that is OK.

To the disappointment of some, and the relief of the many, I will cut the waffle and digressions this evening. Laid up with the recurrence of a back injury from 15 years ago (compression break of the 4th vertebrae from the bottom of the spine) and am on painkillers and scotch...
So without too much further ado, I will whip through your entries.
Dave: I'm sure this is my mother in law...
Phil: Beauty is more than skin deep, I see.
Chris: Like an old married couple, had an argument and not talking to each other - you and hubs?
Marissa: Unfortunately taken long before the challenge was announced, but hopefully you will try again next week...
Eddie: Looks like a disgruntled ol' git . the figure, not you
IL (all hail): A bit of class provided here, a fine composer of music.
In the end I fell for the juxtaposition of the not talking to each other busts provided by Chris, so she gets the baton and all that goes with it this week...well done to all entrants...thank you one and all.
