Weekly Black and White Challenge ending Wednesday 9th January: Being Active

It is the beginning of a new year. The last of the mince pies has been devoured and the fridge is starting to relax a bit as the pickings become a little more scarce and the Beverage rack becomes a little lighter.
This week we want to get out and actively capture images of persons or people Being active! I will start tomorrow
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. All images must be uploaded by 8pm on Wednesday
4. All uploads must be B&W (or sepia toned)
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Have fun
9. Don't forget to enter!!!

Well that's mine in. Perhaps not the most original content for the topic, but there you go - too cold out there for me to spend too much time searching for alternatives! Brrrr!!!
As it was a very bright sky and a very dark beach (wet, red sand), I had to adjust those two colours carefully when converting to black and white to maintain the detail in the sky and ensure the beach didn't appear too dark. Hopefully I got the balance something like right.
