Weekly IL Black and White Challenge - ending 8pm Wednesday 30th December. 2020 - Alison......

I want to dedicate this week to Alison, very sadly we lost her, but she will be remembered by her works...
The theme of this week, 'Alison', indicates that you have to take images of those subjects which she loved as her own subject of photography...you go through her profile to find a suitable subject for you...
Merry Christmas & Best of luck to all of you...
The all important rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. YOUR IMAGE MUST BE TAKEN AFTER THE THEME IS ANNOUNCED.
3. The image must be uploaded in a comment in this thread by 8pm (UK time) on the following Wednesday.
4. Images must be B&W (or sepia toned).
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week's challenge and the judges decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
For new participants - please be aware that should you win, you will need to set a new challenge and judge it after 'closing time' the following Wednesday.

I took as my inspiration the fact that Alison was a cat lover. The subject of my entry is a wandering stray who turned up 7 years ago and adopted us. Not allowed upstairs or on the bed, obviously .....

Not So See Thru
I had to go back to page 34 until I found something that inspired me, not that there aren't many inspiring photos in the previous 33 pages but (A) I didn't bank of finding too many insects at this time of year, (B) I don't currently have any pets and (C) I don't have A good catalogue of unusual props, something that Alison managed to build up in all her travels. Nor do I think I possess her artistic skill for still life.
Then I found See Thru , a selfie no less and ironically shot for the Black and White Challenge themed "Movement" albeit a while before I joined the group. The upload she chose for the group is actually the version and not the main photo.
I decided this would be my focus for the challenge and I chose to focus on using my head for the movement and keep the rest of me as still as possible. I shot around 17 exposures and got a few Exorcist like images with head rotation although I can't help thinking it may be more "Worzel Gummidge".

So it was nice to go into Alison's portfolio and although I know there will not be any more uploads I hope that many users end up stopping by there.

EXIF
Based on Alsion's teddy bear and other stuffed things period.
One poor teddy has lost his/her eyes

Exif is a bit scanty because little manual lens info kept - I think aperture was F4 but can't really be sure because it took quite a few attempts.
