Thanks to Eddie for the challenge too. I did have a better idea but didn't get chance to do it justice.
And no. Colours weren't what I learned about. I already knew that. Tbh, I'm embarrassed to say, the backdrop I used was some sugar paper. It was actually black (well, as black as that stuff gets) not purple. I suspect I had a white balance issue going on there but as the colours complimented each other and I was short on time I just ran with it.

A bit of a challenge that one Eddie, with my non existant culinary skills all I could find in the way of pasta was some seriously out of date twisty stuff. It was so hard, like tungsten steel, that it reminded me of the drill bit.
