I'd like to see a detail of something that emits light, or LIGHT itself. Could be part of a lamp, candle, fire, etc., or just a ray, but an interesting one.

The Rules:

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. Your image must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The image must be uploaded in a comment in this thread by 8pm (UK time) on the following Wednesday
4. Images only in this thread - discussion in the 'Weekly Macro Challenge - Discussion' thread
5. Only one upload per member
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week's challenge and the judge’s decision is final
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
8. Light up my life, please .................. Smile

See you next Sunday....

Spent the week decorating the Grandsons bedrooms..... apparently a good time to do it as they're not visiting.

The lightshades are down and this one has a dimmer fitted.
So turned right down, and lens stepped down quite a bit.

Gas Lighter

I took a test exposure in the dark for the fflame which was fortunate that I got it nearly right as the gas lighter refused to light up after that, Still I was able to use flash to get an exposure for the lighter itself and background and merge the two in post
