For this week's theme, I want you all to put your creative, artistic caps on. Bubbles in all colours and amounts. Get creative with multi-coloured backgrounds, oily sheens, psychedelic rules, OK.
One large bubble or thousands of them in a colony, it's up to you - get your creative juices flowing.
Images of monkeys are not within the realms of the remit...(Michael Jackson fans will know what I mean)

For new participants - please be aware that should you win, you will need to set a new challenge and judge it after 'closing time' the following Sunday.

The rules:

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. YOUR IMAGE MUST BE TAKEN AFTER THE THEME IS ANNOUNCED.
3. The image must be uploaded in a comment in this thread by 8pm (UK time) on the following Sunday
4. Only one upload per member

5. The person who hosts is the judge for that week's challenge and the judge’s decision is final
6. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
7. Photos in the thread, no links.
8. Have fun and clear up any mess after you!

Well, Sunday's here and the thread is not exactly bubbling over with entries so far...are you all conspiring in a 'see-who-can-be-last-to-upload' contest?

OK, here's an entry to start the ball rolling after my playtime this morning. Fairy liquid bubbles under a diffused LED light.

Bubbles

The ball continues to roll and continuing the theme of washing up liquid this is a plastic strainer/sieve which has been dipped in a mixture of washing liquid and water. Then just blowing causes the bubbles to appear around the outside.

All depends on where you do the washing-up!

The bubbles you see here are 1 to 2mm across, in a piece of glass from the 1970s - and they have even smaller bubbles within them. The glass is yellow but the light (flash) added the blue hue. Reminded me of planets hanging in space.

Fuji XT-1 with Pentax 50mm macro on all the tubes I have.

And.....rest.
That's it folks, I'll be back as soon as I can with a result.
Hey! Here's a thought - why not do the result sharing on Zoom...Wink

FCUUUUUUK!

And other appropriate expletives....just nearing the end of the results, complete with waffle, preamble, digression and generally non-relevant facts and figures, when.....nothing...all text gone...I am suitable peeved off, to say the least. I couldn't be more annoyed if someone had asked if they could borrow a fiver....

Ferking nuisance, and now I am so bloody annoyed, I could crush a grape!

Deep breath and counts to ten...
Starts again...

Phil: A psychedelic dawn, a new age. Way out, man!
Eddie: Your bubbles appear to be held together with extremely thin chicken wire - that won't keep any hens in!
Dave: Don't know what you were on when you thought of this one - groovy baby, or as we used to say, gravy booby!
IL (all hail!): Definitely not all washed up.
Andrew: I see small planets in an intergalactic storm, struggling to stay in place...

So, who won? Back in two shakes of a lamb's tail...whatever that means, meanwhile, I have to go and shake something, so hang on a minute...
