Weekly Macro Challenge - ending 8pm Sunday 10th May - Something with legs

Was thinking of a new topic while sipping a robust Rioja when inspiration was there in front of my eyes - which then abruptly closed!
So your challenge this week is to take a macro image of something with legs. An opportunity to chase some wildlife or something inanimate - the choice is yours as long as it has legs.
Them rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The challenge runs until 8pm the following Sunday.
4. Only one upload per member.
5. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
8. Have fun and stay safe
Good luck!

Quick rules clarifications please.
The one upload rule means one entry when the chequered flag is waved right? Which means we're free to change our entry during the week? I've been interpreting one entry as one entry per week.
Specific to this challenge, but with general applicability, and without starting any arguments, what are we taking as macro for the purposes of these competitions?
The reason I ask is the annual plague of crane and may flies has arrived. Crane flies are pretty much the definition of legs (Daddy Long Legs). Now a crane fly body is maybe at most 30mm long, fine under most definitions of macro, but if you're not chopping the legs off the field of view quickly grows to several inches. So, for the purposes of this competition, can I change the spider to a crane fly at about a 1:4 macro ratio, say a 4" field of view without transgressing? I'd say the image I'm looking at now I'd class as macro because my definition is that macro has a restricted field of view and shows details on small subjects not normally visible to the unaided human eye. Which is why I think some images are more still life because they only have a limited field of view.
Or shall I leave my spider to menace Dave's flies?
thanks

Hi Rob,
You can change your entry as many times as you like during the course of the week (I thought only women did that sort of thing
) just as long as you only have one entered by the deadline.
Generally speaking the only 'hard and fast' rule is that images should be taken with a macro lens. Which magnification ratio you use is entirely up to you - for example, my macro lens goes from 0.5:1 up to 2:1.
Hope that helps.

I changed mine
A reminder for those yet to enter - while musing whether Malc is being sexist or Dave has turned into a woman, don't forget to find something small with legs to photograph.

I've copied Dave and based on a subject presenting themselves changed entry. This one being more technical and less arty I think.
The problem with this challenge is too many choices, I've got 3 in my portfolio this week and another crane fly image in the wings as it were. I'd appreciate some opinions on which one people prefer after the challenge has finished. Just for feedback.
Anyway, off into the sun now to sit under the palm tree and watch the demoiselles.

Here goes:
Dave - a nice set of hairy legs - and the fly is also good
Rob - also some detailed hairy legs - this time belonging to your bathroom lady friend
Malc- hope you provided an appropriate send off for your deceased stacked spider
Andrew - good to see some smooth legs here
Eddie - what's better than fingers crossed? - yes it's legs crossed
IL - can't decide whether your fly is dancing or just putting their best leg forward
as always a difficult choice but there has to be a winner and my choice this week is Rob even though I was somewhat disappointed that you didn't state the number of cores that your computer's processor used
.
Well done Rob and over to you!
