Weekly Macro Challenge - ending 8pm Sunday 8th September 2019 - High-Key

Well, I admit it's rather an odd choice but I do like high-key photography and I've seen so many great shots of that genre here on EPZ (and from members of this group) in the past, so I rather like the idea of combining it with macro. So any subject you like, but the image should be high-key.
Hmm. I'm sure it'll work out fine.......
The rules:

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The challenge runs from 8pm on the Sunday and runs until 8pm the following Sunday.
4. Only one upload per member.
5. Please feel free to comment on the entries whenever you like.
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
8. Have fun

Well I'm in...

Before the conical flasks from the B&W challenge went away they provided the subject for Peters' challenge.

Good to know there is at least one picture in, Dave.
I'm trying to not look until 'the appointed time' so that all images will be seen for the same amount of time, but it's so tempting just to peekSad

I've been out in the garden looking for suitable subjects and should have something to upload later on Smile

I'm in with something very girly (sorry guys).
Soft and moody look - just what I associate with high key images! Smile
But I'm always open to learning otherwise...

Not long to go now, looking forward to seeing what's there. A little time left to go, so....

Had a go using light, as opposed to post-editing, but rubbish, so skipping this week 😫

OK - time's up. I've had a sneak preview and this isn't going to be easy, but I have a glass of wine so I should manage it.

It's so annoying when that sort of thing happens. Some days things just don't work as planned.

Back again. Stunning set of images, so difficult to choose. As usual, though, only one lucky winner of the coveted prizeSmile. My favourite, and therefore the winner, is 'Bee' by 'cattyal' alias IL. Over to you Alison and well done - and well done to everyone else for such an enjoyable set of images.

A brave decision, Peter, but the right one, so it just remains to congratulate IL (all hail!) and snigger like Mutley.Wink
