Weekly Macro Challenge - ends 20:00hrs Sun. 12th Jan 2020 - Fruit and Veg and So On

I've had an idea! After all the festive - er feasting, time to get interested in good old healthy eating, so bring out the fruit and vegetables and other such healthy stuff. That's the good thing about the Macro Challenge, it's here to look after us and ensure that we get a healthy diet. So let's get close and personal (I heard that somewhere or other) with some nourishing fodder.
Usual rules apply:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The challenge runs from 8pm on the Sunday and runs until 8pm the following Sunday.
4. Only one upload per member.
5. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
8. Have fun.
9. Eat your greens!

Good for you! Did you manage to eat the subject or has it been dismissed as too healthy

Subjects - plural - and they have been consumed as part of the search for a healthier lifestyle.

I'm belatedly trying that too. I even bought some clementines (oh my darling, oh my darling etc.) They arrived in the shops for Christmas and when I first tried them they were pretty sour - now they are rather nice; usual stuff rush things before they are ready into the stores for Christmas. I remember as a kid getting the occasional tangerine in my Christmas stocking, usually sour little things full of pips. Ah, stop moaning Pete......

Eat it! Very nice on toast with some bacon....

Tricky - I don't like tomatoes and have neither bacon or bread!
Ah well, never mind. Tomatoes make good photos - and at this time of year they aren't at their best. Still, no bacon or bread - what do you live on?

Fair enough - sounds good to me!
