Would you like a challenge of wood? Of course you would. Just one caveat though - the wood would need to be outdoors.
As gnarled as you like, the closer the better.

So, get out and about; not sitting on the fence but taking its photo instead Smile

The rules:
1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. All images must be taken after the theme is announced.
3. The challenge runs from 8pm on the Sunday and runs until 8pm the following Sunday.
4. Only one upload per member.
5. Please feel free to comment on the entries once judging is complete.
6. The person who hosts is the judge for that week challenge and the judge’s decision is final.
7. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week.
8. Have Fun!

While editing the pictures from Sunday and Monday I got one in for the challenge too.
Our Laburnum tree offered itself up a the subject - a HDR composite with a little editing to follow.

Right now to relax after a couple of days out and about in Yorkshire - well after I've cut the lawn.... Smile

We cut the green areas (2) a couple of times each year - there is some grass in there somewhere among all the moss and clover...

Dinner, Dinner! I thought you was a northern boy Phil we have tea in the evening and dinner in the afternoon.
And to add weight to my northern argument when we were at school and we ate food at 1200 we went to the dinner hall with our dinner money supervised by the dinner ladies.
Breakfast, Dinner, Tea.
