Weekly Macro Challenge ending 8pm Sunday 6th December 2020 - cracked

Your challenge this week is cracked. We are currently selling our house and a survey has found a crack in brickwork under a window that is worrying our buyers - so cracks are on my mind at present. So find a crack in a small object or a macro view of a larger crack and snap away. Feel free to crack something but remember that, other than jokes, this can be expensive.

The Rules:

1. The challenge is just for fun.
2. YOUR IMAGE MUST BE TAKEN AFTER THE THEME IS ANNOUNCED.
3. The image must be uploaded in a comment in this thread by 8pm (UK time) on the following Sunday
4. Only one upload per member
5. The person who hosts is the judge for that week's challenge and the judge’s decision is final
6. The winner gets to create, run and judge the challenge for the following week
7. Photos in the thread, no links.
8. For new participants - if you win, you will have to set and judge the next week's challenge

Good luck!

Well it is almost Christmas if you go by the people putting up all their lights so maybe a cracker or two.

You know it's nearly Christmas as the stores are stocking up on Easter eggs...Wink

Had a wander down onto the beach this afternoon while Mrs D at hairdressers.
Low tide exposes the remains of some bits of wood, cracked and covered in seaweed.

Holding it together:

This little cherub is doing his best to hold the vase together, despite showing signs of wear himself. He belonged to my wife's great-great-grandmother which puts him somewhere in the late 1800's so you have to hand it to him for perseverance.

I made the mistake of using the mirror when I had just woken up and was still hungover...Blush

Cracked Phone

A while ago a little slip out of my hand and the phone lands on the ground and the screen cracks. I am always surprised though that whenever touchscreens crack they still continue to work, not like two of our TV's two of which stopped working when our autistic 8 year old threw the remote control at them,

The sad news has been made public.
We minions have lost our Illustrious Leader...

What sad news that is, our IL will be sorely missed.

Sorry that the challenge results are a little late but without further ado, and acknowledgement of a cracking series of images, I declare that Peter is the winner this week with his other worldly cracked lychee. Well done and over to you.

Well who'd have thought you could crack a lychee. Well done Peter, and, with a heavy heart, thanks for the challenge Phil.
