Challenge guidelines:
1. Base image must be jpeg, full size, not resized and not processed in any form or fashion.
2. Any subject except those that require an ePz Adult tag are acceptable.
3. Download the base image by right clicking and saving to your device.
4. Modify in whatever way you wish - anything goes! Modify in whatever way you wish - anything goes! NB! Do not use copyrighted images or parts thereof that are not your own. Copyright-free stock images are allowed.
5. Upload your modified image to the thread as a new comment.
6. A limit of 3 modified images per person.
7. Comments on what you have done are encouraged - others are interested to know what effects have been applied.
8. The winner, as decided by the person running the challenge that week, will be announced as soon after the deadline on Mondays as possible.
9. Challenge setter should also inform the winner by PM in case they are not logged in.
10. The winner should upload a new challenge image asap, and at the latest in the course of Tuesday.

'Road closed'. Added an actual image where the council closed off part of the eroded beach with a road closed sign.. Changed the horizon and added two seagulls.

Decided to go for a "straight" modification.
Used ACDSee
Dehaze,
Saturation
Crop
Slight dark vignette to add impact to the boat & car
Added a frame (well, not exactly a frame, but you know what I mean!)

Searched for a sea god and found this wonderful picture of Neptune (or Poseidon). Added canvas to the left and bottom, selected the car and boat, copy/pasted them onto the Neptune picture, enlarged and sharpened them, added splashes, extra water and waves, cropped to square.

Something that is being trialed, hopefully so that modifications are picked on merit, see how it goes.

Decided that they needed a planet of their own.

Just inverted it & put it into polar co-ordinates & addd black border & tidied up the edges.

Safe in their own bubble under the ocean in their modified transport...

Used underwater stock image as bg, cut/pasted bubble from another image, changed blending mode to overlay, added cut/pasted RR and boat, adjusted opacity and again changed blending mode.

I rather like encouraging modifications to be something which is appreciated less on merit and more on originality and thought - which often, I think,do not lead to a 'meritious image' - but something which is fun and catches the eye.
