Hi
please look at my portfolio(conniemayw)and latest upload to see what I mean.
I don't know what to call these unwanted colour patches, why I get them or how to avoid them. Would be very appreciative of help that anyone can offer.
regards
connie

Those arrows are bad though and hard to clone out.

Sorry but I cannot see any colour patched. Have you reduce the image in size and so hidden the problem. Could you post an actual pixels size crop from the photo.?

Are you seeing these odd colours on your camera screen,or just your computer?.

tried that, did a crop at 314 (camera's res)but save for web makes it go away. Perhaps I'm being too picky?
Will leave it for now BUT it influences my jiggling of images in PS and for the adverse -I'm sure. Also it's appeared on some printouts- quite ugly.Does this description help? Areas of a moderate magenta/deep pink tone where there should be skin tone in slight shadow. Altering with levels or curves can really exacerbate the problem.

OK,go into your monitor settings on your computer and make sure you have it set to 32 not 16 bit, that will give you true colour, that might be your problem?.
