Hope he could afford to get his hair cut and buy a razor after winning his award. As for his images, I've seen better

But Gareth, what do you really think ?

As for the images, have they been finished ?? I'm sure that there are many photographers on this site that could have done a better job, I would have done it for half the price !!!!

I think a lot of the shots are fine, but the ones with torn backdrop do not look good. Yes, it may be what he intended but I think he has let his ego intrude more than he should have done.
There are times to be adventurous and times to go 'Classic' and 'classic' style reaches that status for a reason - it is pleasing to look at whatever trends may be 'in' at any particular time. And surely this photo shoot was about the athletes and commemorating selection to represent their country, for them this is a really important event.

I hope they are not a finished job, even still having the paper backgrounds wrinkle free etc during the session would make things a lot easier to clean up in post. I really don't think they will make the best of images and yes a lot of togs on here could of produced better.

It's OK and refreshing to be 'unconventional', but quality is also important.

Producing 'unconventional' and poor quality does no-one any favours.

Just proves to me that the olympics and all the tosh that surrounds them are the over expensive, over hyped, over blown load of crap they have been for some years
