Western Digital My Book
I've just read on line that people have been hacked and have lost all their work from the above storage. Western recommend unplugging their My Books until further notice, which I've done. I have nothing missing, but I'll just reconnect it when i need to back up, which i do manually anyway.
This seems to apply only to certain old drives used for server storage rather than the type we use for backup on home PCs. Useful article on the SecurityWeek website.
