Wet plate collodion
Any one on here got any experience with wet plate collodion?
I'm looking at doing a work shop on the technique for a project idea I a working on for next year. I'd be interested to learn of folks experiences and any tips for getting started. In particular, I need to source gear for the project at as low a cost as possible. This includes:
Camera + dark slides etc
Portable darkroom (preferably a pop up type tent)
Chemistry (I've got a couple of possible sources for this already)
Glass (what thickness to use? any special requirements?)
