I guess it would be easy for it to be fixed if a) the judge knows that he's going to be judging it and b) feels it ethical to cheat the system.
When I judge I have no motives other than to pick which I think is best. The judge of this competition wasn't a)asked to judge until after closing and b)given the names of the owners of the pics.

Pete, can I ask if the selector of the "shortlist" has access to the names of the entrants and if so, will that be the case in the current Microsoft competition?
