What is is Morecambe like in 2021?
it is a wee while since i have been holidays to morecambe what is like nowadays as a photo location
Hi Ian. Living in the area I know it pretty well. 6 highlights for you:
1. Sunsets - being on the west coast there are some fabulous sunsets to be had;
2. Backdrop - the Bay itself boasts the stunning Lakeland Fells across the bay which can make for some stunning backgrounds;
3. The Stone Jetty - offers some interesting potential;
4. Boats in the Bay - low tide and high tide give different perspectives;
5. Heysham - to the south lies the quaint village of Heysham which is an easy walk along the promenade from Morecambe itself;
6. Surrounding Areas - to the north lies Silverdale and Arnside both worth a visit; the Lancaster Canal is easily accessible and of course the Lake District is not too far away.
