What lens?

I have uploaded a kingfisher photo today, taken with a 50mm lens.
This is to show you do not have to have a long lens.
My Favourite choice of lens is the 300mm prime, used without a converter, on a full frame camera.
This is a difficult lens to use.
Easier lenses are the 100-400 or 70-400. for perch shots.
the disadvantage of these is they are rarely fast lenses.
The 70-200 2.8 Is proven to be good for In-flight shots. see malc Brown's photos.
For video I use a Zoom. the 70-200 I would expect to work well.
I have used many different lenses, and wish to share my opinion?
This group now consists of many excellent photographers.
Everyone's views are very welcome. I'm sure we will all benefit.
