We've created a quick (and easy) poll to find out what photo editing software you use:

Thanks

Perhaps folk could stop by here and mention if they use more than one piece of software ?

I only use one for processing, Capture One Pro ( Sony )

But still have my Lightroom 5 installed if I want to check something before I moved over to C1 as I have not yet completed importing all my images into C1 catalog yet.

I answered joshwa's link yesterday. It's a tick box survey.

I use Lightroom and Photoshop CC, the combination of which is dependant on the subject matter but Lightroom is my organiser/library

I use LightRoom as for me it is quick to tweak and adjust images and I can export it to PS do and Amendment, save it and it appears back in my LR, that is very handy !

Love to see some extra options added to this poll, also reopening older polls (loads I've never seen before).

Often plugins such as Nik, mobile software such as Adobe's stuff and the amazing SnapSeed are all valid and will have had a major contribution to many great images on ePz.

Le'ts get a few more options to add data to our uploads, where we can have a software drop down? And *PLEASE* can we get the upload dialog to use cookies or whatever to remember our usual settings? It pains me to have to find camera model and switch JPEG to raw when I upload when the tech exists to set a default or remember the last used setting for each user?

Agreed.
Personally, I use Infinite Colour Panel and Infinite B&W Panel, plus/or the Nik package on every image I upload here, so saying it is processed in LR or PS is very often only a small part of the processing story.
Having a kind of 'software exif' attached to images would be interesting.

I use an online editor known as Ipiccy as my beginning editor which is free. Then I fine tune in Polarr, a largely unknown editor which has a free and purchase (now subscription only) version. Or I may use my purchased vesion of Photoscape Pro instead of Polarr, sometimes. I generally do not shoot in RAW, though I can process in Photoscape if I ever do so. Ipiccy being free, Polarr I bought for $1.99 in its early form (now regularly updated), and with Photoscape Pro X which I bought sometime ago for $14.99 they all make for a very complete and inexpensive photo editing experience.

Maybe interesting - Adobe including Elements so far accounts for about 55%.

Give it a few years and Affinity with their suite of software may get closer to or even pass Adobe

Is it possible to see how many people voted? The sample size could be meaningless. I also wonder what the split is between Adobe legacy software and CC subscription software. More polls!

85 people voted, so almost 100 Smile
The most popular / common "other" was Nik, with 8 people putting it in the other box.

We'll look at doing more polls in the future Smile

Adding in EXIF from what software was used is a good idea, I'll suggest it to the team Smile

With 14 options in the poll and so far only 85 voting the result is unlikely to provide a reareliable average.
8 voting for Nik gives it almost a 10% share - similar to PhotoShop elements.
