Just acquired this little beauty - Agfa Super Silette with Soliar 45mm f3.5 lens and Synchro-Compur shutter.

My first 'proper' camera was a Silette Apotar 45mm f3.5 lens Prontor SVS 9 speed shutter. I really wanted the super version because of the coupled range finder but it wasn't available at the time.

The dealer sold me a 'bolt on' Super-Wattameter II rangefinder and a Gossen exposure meter to complete my kit. Golden days! Smile

Fifty years on and I have one at last! Smile

Trip around my village with the Agfa Super Silette 21st September this year. I had adjusted the range finder to reasonably match the calibrations on the lens focusing scale. However, the scale markings seem to be out of adjustment with the lens itself. Maybe someone has had the lens elements off to access the shutter mechanism to service same. Certainly the results are disappointing for a Solinar lens. Something to look into.
