Hi everyone,

Iíve not done much photography over the last 10 years.

We bought a Canon SELPHY printer to unleash our iPhone photos and have been going mad printing all our Cornwall landscapes from the last 10 years.

I dug our my old Canon Powershot S70. I bought this as a compact to replace my 5D, it has a 28mm -100mm equivalent lens, full manual focus, manual exposure with aperture and shutter priority.

Iím wanting to by a few new Compact flash cards for it but Iím not sure if the camera can cope with the latest CF tech and size of the cards. The one in the camera is a 2GB, the camera says it can use type 1 or 2.

Question, will a 24GB card work in it?

Cheers

Rob

It came originally supplied with a 32gb card, so yes, a 24gb shouldn't be a problem. I believe the largest card it can cope with is 64gb.

I've never seen 24gb.
4,8,16,32,64 etc. But never 24.

It came originally supplied with a 32MB card. The CF specs have changed a few times and I think they are up to type 6 now. You might have trouble formatting cards larger than 8GB.

a 4gb card would probably work, although I did find this:

Cheers all, I think it came with a 250mb size card as I have one thatís Canon branded. Compatibility and size of card was the issue worrying me.
