Ooooo I'm interested to read that Mike, I'm just trialling Photium at the moment, and I really do like it. I'm thinking of just going for the 'light package' to start with, see how I go with that.

Another vote for photium, Will is great, always there to help. Thought the light package would be ok, then the standard, but now I'm on the advanced. Lots of space & great features.
Is there no link from here now, it always used to be at the bottom of the page.

I found out this week the extent of Photiums support package and it is way out beyond all expectations.

Just moved from clicpic to Photium and am pleased I did. Will is great as has been said above and the site has many more features now.

1&1internet.com/co.uk are pretty good - also they claim to be the world's largest hosting company they are based in Slough. I've been using them to host my site over the past 3 years and never had any issues with them. When I needed support in the early days it was good and call backs was prompty adhered too. I know a few other pro's from other areas of photography also use them.

I used to use 1&1 Internet also until I realised they were charged me 80 per year for my small no thrills website, so I moved it in 2006 to Streamline.net for an amazing 13.99 per year (250MB website) and it has been 100% uptime with no problems ever since.

one and one's basic account is 2.34 (inc VAT) a month; paid monthly

Streamline.net is 22.31 a year paid annually. The figure you quote is for paying for 2 years and excludes VAT

Doesn't seem much in it to me other than Streamline.net host about 100,000 sites and oneandone 2.5 million sites.

BTW I'm another satisfied oneandone user with a number of sites hosted with them.
