White is the colour of purity and innocence. It symbolizes pure feelings and thoughts. White is good and positive, in contrast to black which symbolizes bad and dark feelings and thoughts. But apart from signifying good and pure, white symbolizes a whole season as well, winter. It is connected to snow, cold and festivity. White Christmas, white mountain slopes, cosy atmosphere in wooden huts, while outside everything is covered by snow.In BWG we would like to see what “White” signifies for you and how you can relate to this colour. Is it something that creates positive feelings or the opposite.

Looks like you may be going through a reflective range of light frequency exhibitions with your other exhibition being 'moments of colour' I'm not sure I'd agree with you on what white symbolisms above. White can also be cold, clinical, unfeeling and without depth or emotion. It can be bland, tasteless, or a homogenous amalgam of the many otherwise interesting colours.
What does seem to be true is that any purely solid colour on its own is very quickly boring without contrast and shade. White without light is Black. White, and colour itself, only exist in the present of light and too much light is blinding. I hope your entrants find the perfect balance of yin and yang.
