Some retailers make half their profits around Christmas time. So it doesn't matter whether they are Christians or not, so long as there's money in it Christmas will be much-loved! Grin

In fact I suspect we will end up with 'all year round Christmas'. It already starts at the beginning of August...............

Well whatever reason you have for celebrating Christmas perhaps everyone could spare a thought for those in hospital because whatever your woes with the world perhaps things aren't as bad for you as they are for others Sad

You are right 'answersonapostacrd' (gotta be a way of abreviating that!) - but there are people who are far worse off than those in hospital. Half the worlds population in the third world countries without water, food and good health, then there are those who only have a cardboard box to sleep in, in our own country.

Lets think of them all.

That is the trouble with Christmas, with so many people apparently enjoying themselves it does accentuate the plight of those suffering. I'm guessing that
answersonapostcard has a personal connection with someone in hospital. I hope that it is something non fatal and they get well soon.
