Why is my monitor showing black screen with white writing

Hi...I've inadvertently changed the colour of my screen,
....how do I get it back to normal ?

The monitor will probably have an on-screen menu giving a reset as one of the options.

Go into the Windows Control Panel which you will find among the apps in the 'Windows' section (if you are using Windows 10). Open this then click on 'Appearance and Personalisation', When this opens click on 'Personalization', When this opens you will need to click on one of the options displayed there - I suggest one of the 'Windows default themes'. You will probably have to restart your computer for it to take effect.
