Wii Fit

Hey, like thousands I'm trying to get hold of a copy of Wii Fit. Any one got any tips? Or if anyone finds one can they get it for me lol. Seems the only way of getting one is by paying double or getting an outrageous mobile phone contract where you get one for "free".

I got mine last week from Argos. Do a stock check and reserve online. If you check just after 8PM, anything previously reserved and not collected goes back onto stock.

Tried using the stock checkers that Cole suggested but wasn't quick enough with the keyboard when stock became available!

Ah OK. I'm surprised no one would collect a reserved one...there was even a reservation code for sale on eBay last week.

I got mine from WHSmith a few weeks ago.
Popped into Game and they told me they wouldn't have any for a few weeks. Walked across the road the WHsmiths to buy a paper and saw them putting a couple out on display. Result!

Against my better judgement I bought one for my wife. She used it a couple of times and got bored with it.

I flogged it on ebay for nearly double the amount I paid for it. Just wish I'd bought a couple more originally!

If you find out please let me know. It seems like a triumph of advertising over product to me, just my opinion you understand!

Is the Wii Fit a stand-alone unit (and I don't mean will it take the weight of two or more people at a time before anyone suggests it!) or do you have to have a Wii as well? I'm not into consoles, but the missus is interested in the Wii Fit for keeping fit. Just not sure if you plug it straight into the TV or need the Wii as well?

You need the Wii as well...you can get the Wii fit easier if bought as a package but at a price Sad
I got the Wii fit last week but was online when the email came through with the stock alert...went straight on to the Woolworths site and bought it.

Thanks for that. I'll break the news to the wife later... Maybe when both have dropped in price a bit (and demand!) she can spend some of her hard-earned pennies. Or she could just exercise on the rest of the exercise stuff we have littering the house!

I am going to sell my wii package as I don't play much. I will put an ad later in EPZ.
