Windows 11

If you're considering taking up the Microsoft offer to upgrade your Windows 10 to Windows 11 for free (subject to minimum specifications) my recommendation is DON'T.
Eizo specifically recommend not upgrading but to stay with 10, I'm no expert but it seems Windows 11 cannot use profiles from things like Spyder Calibrators. It has its own very fiddly and not very accurate adjustment process carried out within its settings page.
You have been warned (unless you like very garish colours that burn the back of your retina)

For all other features (lightroom, Photoshop etc) so far win11 has been great for a few of the family laptops - but as you say, google concurs, Eizo has not yet solved their Win11 compatibility https://www.eizoglobal.com/support/compatibility/software/win/windows11/

JackAllTog comments sums it up perhaps it's just EIZO. Interestingly most new computers are now being pre-loaded with 11. After doing a lot of Googling the general concensus from most computer experts is that Window 11 hasn't come up with many of the predicted improvements it was rumoured to have. The advice seems to be there is little or no benefit from updating yet - wait a year for all the bugs to be killed off. Interestingly of all the check boxes that pop up when you revert back to 10 asking why, the top one is 'some of my apps or software don't function correctly'. Warning you only have 10 days after upping to 11 to revert back to 10, after that you're stuck with it.
