WING32.DLL

My son has installed "Encyclopedia of Space and the Universe", but when he tries to run it, he gets told that WING32.DLL is missing.

Can anyone shed anylight as to what this file is for and more importantly recommend a fix for it.

Haven't seen WinG mentioned in years. It was a graphics programming layer for Windows 3.x (yes that's right before Win95!!) that allowed almost direct access to the video card for games developers - think of it as a very early DirectX.

I'd suggest finding a newer generation of the application as that sounds like it's ancient.
