worried about my D60....help!

Might be worth checking if theres crap on your focusing screen or mirror as I think the AF sensors are mounted in the pentaprism housing (please correct me if I'm wrong). Crap in the path of the sensor will certainly foul things up.

No Lee, the AF sensors are in the base of the mirror box - taking light coming through the partially silvered part of the main mirror and reflected down and forwards via a smaller mirror mounted on the back of the main one.
It's the exposure meter that's in the pentaprism.

You might be interested to know this years winner of 'Wildlife Photographer of the Year' won with a Canon D60 so cant be all bad !

Nobody said the D60 wasn't a capable camera, just that the AF is lazy.

I've had some great results with a D60
