I love this because he is my first great grandchild and the pleasure he takes from everything he explores is so wonderful to see and now he is 4 and a half and he hasn't lost one iota of his great pleasure in exploring new things. To see him 'cherishing' a pumpkin is a delight - but that is a video!
I think this is my favourite because it was the first 'Macro' I had taken (way back when) which actually revealed to me a world I hadn't seen before - the little 'lollipops' in the middle of each flower on a Black elder - that opened my eyes!!
Sorry 'You might like this' I had read 'Portrait' just above your posting and attached it to 'your favourite' - which obviously my 'portrait' wasn't taken in the street! Please forgive me and I hope it can substitute. And neither were black and white! 
Not my best macro image but a favourite. This is the bud of a Poinsettia, the main part is about 3mm high and I was surprised that it looks like a face with horns and the liquid cannot be seen easily, in fact I didn't know it was there. Plant was a gift!
