Your Favourite EPZ Photo of 2011...( NOT your own!)

Following Ade's thread. But this time, it is your most favourite photo in EPZ that is NOT your own, from the last 12 months.

Please please please try your best to upload the photo and not a link... the idea is that you scroll up and down then thread and see everyone's photos.
(Unfortunately, you would need to save the photo to you computer first, and upload in this thread. You can always delete it afterwards.)

Feel free to add a little bit about "why" you like the photo so much.

you can right click photos and choose "copy URL" - then paste that into the photo upload box... that works and skips having to download the shot Smile

Has to be this one for me ...and I didn't give it a user award (only 'cos I missed it when Ian uploaded it).

Original, humerous, with a bit of a twist
Oh and Cole what you doing marking your own post as helpful? Tongue

Nice call Cole... (And I would take the opportunity to wish you and your family a 'Happy Christmas'!)

Now to the 'controversial' part... because... It's one of yours matey.

Part of the 'problem' I see with this very worthy thread of yours is 'Who to Vote for!??'

We are blessed with sooo many talented member here on EPZ and it becomes a case of 'where' - 'which one' etc etc...

In my case I went to my 'Recent Activity' area in my PF - and this stood out like a sore thumb. Not least because I have always wanted to capture something such as this.

This impresses me me immensely in so many ways.

So. Great idea Mate... I look forward to seeing other input here!! Grin

Thanks Nick and Mike for taking part.
It is an extremely hard decision for me too, but I guess this is the one by Ajanovic, simply because of the atmosphere and nostalgia.
It is almost like an image from the WW2.

By the way, I couldn't get Ade's method to workSad

Chrome - it's called "Copy image URL", and for that mono above you get... https://www.ephotozine.com/images/bbcode/32089/1-lrg-157836-1304587423.jpg

I don't really look at the gallery much - more a forum user, so not really got a clue who's posted what in 2011....

I like this image and made it one of my best for me because it is a bold move to use a fish eye lens and create a great image doing so, i have seen too many fish eye images that just do not work.
This image works, it is stunning and good use of the lens was achieved here.
It is hard to state this is my only favourite image from 2011 as I have many I put in to my favourites list but this one sticks out for in my mind.

For me it has to be this one by "Uboat" or Connor.

As with a lot of Connor's work, it's a composite. And as such, to my mind, it's technically first class.
Also the content, the two combatants chasing at low level through a deserted countryside with only one almost certain outcome makes the scenario particularly bleak.

ian robinson's choice - just thought I'd upload the pic so you don't have to click the link

Thx Ade the method up top did not work for me some how so gone to traditional method on this one.

I like this one too for the look and the superb light in this image not sure if it is a composite or not but it is brilliant in my mind.

Diversification time Team but... this is one of those Forum Threads where a 'Like' (i.e. 'I agree with the comment made') button would be great - and supportive by it's results.

Just a thought... Wink
