Left for me for impact, but the expression on the right is more natural and has more appeal.

my votes with the shot on the right. she looks really disgusted with something. the pic on the left just looks really posed.

The one on the left she has such beautiful eyes.
The one on the right looks like she is posing angry but is not.

Left - is the better quality picture

Right - has the better facial shape. The eyes are a more natural shape for the expression.

The left one has the effect of surprise and the right one a look of disgust. It really depends on what you want to convey in the picture. They are equally as good but for differing reasons and not really comparable.

One on the right for me, looks less staged to me and because of that holds my attention longer.

Thanks all, left wins, which was my hunch! I wanted to enter one of the shots for a major comp which is being held later this year and I wasn't sure which one to put in.

I agree with a lot of your comments - especially Uncle Pete's.

The pics have now been taken down.
