Hi all

I've just been given a Hoya Zoom Close-Up Lens with 52mm thread and i was just interested to know if it's any good.

I know that all i have to do is to try it but i was hoping others may have some experience with it.

Hoya tends to make good products. But nothing beats a real macro lens.

To be fair to Cole, he has told you the right course of action and then given you feedback on his own experience.

If you were about to spend some money and wanted to know if it was any good, then he may have just saved you a few pounds. As it is you already have it so I would suggest sticking it on the camera and giving it a go and see if you can get anything you are happy with from it.

If you cannot, then what anyone else thinks is a bit redundant unless you have tired it and want some advice.

We are a helpful bunch on here generally so give us a chance.
